Handmade jewellery is known to be better quality than mass manufactured jewellery because the focus here is on the product. However, the goal is not to make symmetrically perfect identical pieces. Handmade jewellery is often made from scratch, it always has a personal touch to it and allows for some visual imperfections which only make the pieces more special. The methods and tools for making handmade jewellery are both ethical, traditional to some degree, and require the use of cutting-edge technology.
