Diamond is one of the best-known and most sought-after gemstones. Diamonds are such a highly traded commodity that multiple organizations have been created for grading and certifying them based on the "four Cs", which are color, cut, clarity, and carat.
Emerald is a gemstone and a variety of the mineral beryl coloured green by trace amounts of chromium and sometimes vanadium. Beryl has a hardness of 7.5ā8 on the MOHs scale. Most emeralds are included, so their toughness (resistance to breakage) can be classified as poor. However, hydrothermal (HD) emeralds are less included and therefore have better resistance to breakage, they are also much cheaper than mined emeralds. Hydrothermal emeralds are often referred to as "created", as their chemical and gemological composition as well as appearance is the same as their natural counterparts but they are man-made
